Who We Are

Beginning in 1966 as North Star Service & Supply, Inc. in Minneapolis, we initially sold and serviced everything from tools to kitchen appliances. Over time, we narrowed our focus to selling and servicing high quality tools and equipment for the industrial, manufacturing, automotive, agricultural and do-it-yourself markets. With our foundation of providing a high quality, factory trained repair services, North Star Service & Supply, Inc. quickly established itself as a premium dealer and service center for its customers. In line with our business growth and expansion, we subsequently changed our name in 1999 to Tool Warehouse Inc. to better reflect what we do.

We established a second location in Waite Park, Minnesota in 1999. We experienced rapid growth in this area and have since expanded and relocated to our current location in St. Cloud, Minnesota. In January of 2004 we purchased Air Tool Service & Supply in West Fargo, North Dakota expanding our regional base to three locations to provide greater purchasing power and a broader repair service base.

As we continue to grow with the help of our faithful employees, we maintain committed to providing the highest quality service and support with uncompromising standards of integrity. We are grateful for the trusted relationships we have established with our customers over the past 39 years and we look forward to continuing this personal level of service in “Making Tools Work For You Since 1966” as we grow.
