1/2” COMPACT DESICCANT DRYERS How desiccant system works: Incoming air is dispersed through a 70 micron polypropylene element for removal of particles. The air is then distributed uniformly through the desiccant to the bottom of the bowl where clean/dry air enters the intake tube. As desiccant silica beads become saturated there will be a color change from blue to pink which is easily observed through the sight glass. • Delivers extremely dry compressed air as low as -30° F • Replace when color changes in the sight glass from dark blue to pink • To prolong the life of the unit, a 40 micron pre-filter, and .03 coalescing filter should precede dryer. • Maximum pressure: 250 PSI
